Alta Badia in winter reserves great possibilities not only for skiers. At your disposal you may find toboggan runs, horse-drawn sleigh rides and numerous well-groomed trails for walking through the fabulous snow-covered scenery, while the most virgin landscapes can be reached with snowshoes. The Cross-Country Ski School (Sarè/Armentarola) organises guided snowshoe hikes to the places of particular historic or natural interest.
Rich and varied is also the program of the sporting and cultural events, that contains ski competitions (among which there is a stage of the Men's Giant Slalom World Cup in La Villa), a Christmas market in San Cassiano, different ski shows, torchlight descents, gastronomic events and parties in the valley and in the mountain huts, including Ütia Bamby, that belongs to Lüch de Tlara Farm.
