Hiking and mountain biking

Located on the gentle slopes at the foot of Sasso di Santa Croce (Kreuzkofel), our farm is a great outpost to explore the splendid Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Prags through various hikes and MTB tours. Among the most fascinating routes of this area there is the so-called Larch Trail, that leads towards San Cassiano passing by larch forests, alpine meadows and traditional rural constructions such as a water mill, dry stone walls and traditional fences. In the opposite direction, wind the paths towards the sanctuary of Santa Croce, from where you can reach the Armentara meadows, the Ice Cave and the charming lake Lech dla Lé. For more experienced hikers an unmissable destination is the Fanes plateau, with its unique and matchless landscapes. Biking enthusiasts, in this case, would certainly give preference to an e-bike.

In the mountains with children

On our farm, away from traffic and city chaos, your kids will have lots of space to play in complete safety. Although in summer our cows with calves enjoy fresh grass up in the mountains, children in Alta Badia have numerous possibilities to meet different domestic and wild animals, for example, in the Animal Park Parch in Colfosco, in the Deer Park Paraciora between La Villa and Badia, at the various mountain dairies and on the pastures. In the surroundings of our farm you may also find interesting family trails, such as the educational Larch Trail and the theme walk Tru di Tiers, with the sculptures of the wild animals of the Dolomites and with the funny games of stamp collection and treasure hunt. Other unforgettable adventures are reserved for the whole family in the Movimënt Parks at Piz Sorega (San Cassiano), Piz la Ila (La Villa) and Pralongià.

Alta Badia in summer is always full of fascinating cultural discoveries. Numerous events, including processions, concerts, exhibitions, markets, gastronomic events, festivals, feasts and folklore evenings, enrich the summer life of all the main tourist centres of Alta Badia, which are San Cassiano, La Villa, Badia, La Val, Corvara and Colfosco. It's a great opportunity to learn in a playful way some facts about the ancient Ladin culture, rich in unique traditions and rustic charm. Those who wish to discover more, can explore one of the two Ladin museums of the Badia Valley: Ursus Ladinicus in San Cassiano with the focus on geology and Ćiastel de Tor in San Martino in Badia, dedicated to the Ladin culture, history, language and identity.
